Some Questions

I'm back in the game guys, but I have some questions:

1. How do I start using the new "Archivist" spellbook that pops up when I hit the "B" key?

2. I think I received some cool new magic items in my inventory.

3. Do spells still use those component gems?

4. The gate guard at the entrance to Mistriven effectively disarms you when you talk to him and he asks you to remove your weapon. Sorry, but this, from an RP perspective, would seem like a relatively hostile act. I feel the need to burn his ass because a) I'm not some lowbie who needs a lesson in how to control his weaponry and b) I'm a well respected member of the community.

5. When you log in to the server you can see peoples levels, classes, etc. at the character selection scree. As I recall this used to be blocked and all you could see were character names.

1. PRC may be a bit funky right now because we're in the midst of updating to 3.5 soon so hold tight there.

2. Nothing has been added to inventories, I promise! xD

3. Yes. As far as I know.

4. Scripting is also being changed around so hold tight there, too.

Archivist is currently bugged on this PRC server. The way it traditionally works doesn't use the "B" spellbook option, but instead under your class radial you have a Spellbook option that pops up a conversation menu to where you can choose what spells you want from each spell level you know. Also in the class radial is the "Learn Spell" option which lets you learn druid/paladin/cleric spells added to your spellbook. To use it you can't just right click a scroll and select Learn Spell like you can with Wizard scrolls. Instead you use that Learn Spell class radial option and then target the scroll from your inventory that you wish to learn. When you learn new spells they appear in your Feats List on your character sheet, and once you decide which spells you will study for the day and rest they will appear in your class radial as well. Not in the "B" spellbook that other classes get, but again like I said before. This class is currently not working properly on this server from what I have noticed. The Swordsage class is also not working as well, but as the staff said they are currently trying to update to the newest version of PRC.

Thanks for the update. Keep an eye out for bugs in PRC.

Remember, we stopped the server when it was on PRC3.4 Release Candidate 1, so it wasn't even a GA release of 3.4.

After we moved to 3.5, please test what you found was having issues, and see if it persists.

5. Changed so now you cannot see levels or portraits, only names. Still not definite plan on what we'll be using after relaunch.
