As you know we are working on some big changes to the server based on the big player/staff meeting that occurred, if my memory is right, in January.
Be assured that we are still working on it... just RL takes a lot of time, and it's not going as fast as I'd expected, but it's going nonetheless !
Since today we dispose of a clean mod to work with, real work can begin. I will keep you informed in this thread as I get news.
I have some work to do for some of you who have offered to help - I haven't forgotten you! There just needs to be some basic things done before you guys can really do things. : )
So if you don't see me around the server some days, I'm likely working on the revamp.

I can still be reached by PM of course or in game when you see me and I'm not AFK.

Neo is working on slimming down the server.
Thats by recycling whatever unused areas we have, and removing all "one off" DM areas.
He will then be cleaning up the scripts, and then install PRC 3.5
PRC 3.5 may take a bit, so thats why its the last on the list..... but it will be done.

Just giving everyone a heads up. we are all working on the Dev machine (yes, we have a Dev machine) to update the system. So, although you don't see anything happening right now, a lot of things are happening under the hood. Keeping everyone informed.  |

Areas in the mod have been juggled and moved around. Some have been resized, some have been flipped on its side. So there goes you knowing your way around the world. Gotta love the mysterious ways of the mist..... Scripting fixes next! |

The new mod has been mapped out, and about 90% of the base areas have been created. Working on dungeon CR levels, new items, npc changes, etc.
Scripting is still in tangles but progress is steady.

Much of Mistriven has been retooled, but not so much that it will be confusing to older players. Scripting is still being fine tuned. Certain items and placeables that was causing lag and slowdowns have been removed or changed to reduce load on the server.
Overall, progress goes well.

Working on the Kill/Death System, including new choices on which church to be spawn in, based on alignment, race, and class. Other small ironing out, and finished overall social hubs. Hopefully should be all done before the week is over.

This week will be busy, so progress will be slow. Removed a lot of redundant scripts that caused errors, made different areas to come back to life. Coming through some other scripts in curiosity. Will be fixing some of the rest areas... blah blah blah. The stuff I will be doing this week will be things people may never notice |

Working on some brand new scripts to get rid of some of the (very) outdated ones. Don't know how long this will push things back, but will be a major boon to the server overall.
