Ok so, after I created a new character last night, upon logging in my character wasn't visible, I didn't change any of the video settings and the same problem is occurring on other servers I've tried logging into as well (the character simply isn't there, and none of the NPC's are showing up either) but when I hold down tab, I can see the outline, and when I hover over them with my mouse, their outlines appear.
It's not that serious of a problem because it's not going to prevent me from playing, as I can still see placeables and what not, just not pc/npcs, which can be rather irritating seeing as I'd like to be able to see what or who I'm playing with.
If anyone has any advice on how to remedy this, it'd be much appreciated!

Did you get the gog.com version of the game? If so, use the critical rebuild link in my sig.  |

I've actually got the critical rebuild and I'm pretty sure it's not the gog version as I actually copied my original nwn folder from the cd installation from another computer, and I can't use the critical rebuild because every time it comes up for me to use it, it says I have to re install the game using the original cd  |

Ok so I was able to load the critical rebuild from my external hard drive and I had a saved copy of the nwn folder with everything in it, just copying it back over now to see if I can play.

Is this a fresh install? Does it happen in single player mode?

Yes it does happen in single player mode and I just deleted the old folder and transferred it back over to the main hard drive with the critical rebuild patched up, not exactly a fresh install seeing as I don't have the cd.

Have there been any updates to the server? Software wise? I just can't see why this problem would just come up out of nowhere when everything was working just fine before I created that new character and the critical rebuild almost always solves any problem I had with playing before? Although that couldn't be the case either since it's happening offline and on other servers. . . This is gonna really suck if I have to get a new cd or completely re install the game.

Lol wow, ok I figured it out, apparently renaming the client that opens nwn will cause serious errors with character generation, so don't rename your nwmain file.
