Just wanted to give a big hi and hello to all the folks returning and to any new ones joining us. I also had a few questions that I'm sure many are also wondering so here we go:
Will this be a new server with new characters and new stories or will it be a continuation of previous storylines with new and old characters?
Where is the Wiki/info/player guide for the PRC?
Can I submit a character portrait to be added to the portraits.zip file?
Is there a Pathfinder PRC and, if so, can we use it? (I'm a big fan of the Pathfinder ruleset.) Alternatively, D&D version 5 is now available...
Can we use old characters on this new server? Will they transfer over directly or will they start at level 1?
What kind of "spell components" will there be on this server and will spell casters be required to keep track of and maintain these components?
Finally,
A big thank you for reviving the server. I am looking forward to seeing what is in store.

Alright, In order I'll answer the questions you put up here. 1.) This will be a continuation of the server, with a 10 year jump in time. It will still be in Mistriven Falls, and the setting will show more of a predominance in the Ravenloft campaign; however, it is still fantasy themed, and has a Fearun setting. 2.) this link will get you to the 3.5 PRC Manual www.athasreborn.com/prc/manual/3.) at the moment we haven't taken any portrait requests, after the server re-launch the staff will have a better answer to the question. 4.) There is no pathfinder PRC, nor is there a way to convert NwN to 5th ed. 5.) You can use 1 character from the old server, de-leved down to 5 to conform with the new leveling zone we want people to be in. However. we encourage players to instead make new characters, and share a new story with the server. 6.) At this time spell components will still be in, however they will not be using the gem system, as it caused a gold inflation out the wazoo. We have decided to use classical spell components at this time. If you have any other questions, or want me to clarify something don't hesitate! Also if anyone else wants to ask the staff a question I'd be more than happy to answer  |

PRC 3.5 will be implemented upon relaunch. No promises on exactly when, but we're hoping for much sooner than later for the relaunch, as most of the work has been done. I'm just trying to juggle my schedule right now (as I'm sure the rest of the staff is) to finish everything and put all the pretty pieces together.
